Acholla was a harbour city on the east coast of Tunisia, about 45 kms from the city of Sfax.
Only limited excavations have taken place. The harbour had a mole ending in a platform for loading ships, that could not approach the coast because the sea was too shallow. The hinterland seems to have been used for olive cultivation.
