Tomb 93

The enclosure of tomb 93 was clearly built secondarily. The façade and back wall of the burial chamber lie in one line with the burial chamber of tomb 92.
The inscription, framed in a nice cornice, has disappeared. Not only the cornice was richly decorated, the whole façade was provided with flower motifs and garlands.
The burial chamber was organized to inter urns only and had beautiful decorations of stucco and paintings. Unfortunately, little has remained.
In the back wall is a large, semicircular niche, flanked by two large, rectangular niches equipped with a triangular tympanum. In the arches a shell is depicted.
The wall with the entrance has two further rectangular niches. In those niches were paintings of Dionysian scenes.

The floor of the burial chamber was made of coloured mosaic. Alongside the back wall of tomb 93 is a large, brick bench for funerary rituals.
