Tomb 22Isola Sacra Menu

Tomb 22, together with tombs 22, 23 and 24, is part of one block located close to the Via Severiana.
The facade of tomb 22 has a semicolumn at each corner. The level of the entrance lies above the level of the street.
The burial chamber is organised for inhumation only.
Beneath the floor, which is partly preserved, formae have been found.
The upper part of the tomb is lost. In the arcosolia some traces of the original decoration can be seen.
The tomb dates from 200-210 AD.
